Sustainable business
The systemic model Expert 5ATM sheds precious light on the tricky issue of the sustainable development.
It states the following: since all economical, social and environmental processes are based on exchanges in a
finite space, they all must be approached from a systemic point of view. For that purpose, Expert 5ATM allows
for down to earth pragmatic analysis of these issues. In particular, it demonstrates how economical activity is
integrated in a broader social system as opposed to the belief that social development be subjected to economical
activity. It also demonstrates that "responsibility" is the systemic function which allows for the integration
of each of the 9 levels into the next. Therefore, sustainable development can only be "responsibility" issue.
In Expert 5ATM basic training, we will not study the economical model based on Expert 5ATM principles (see Advanced
training). We will however address some fundamental systemic aspects which allow the managers to measure the extent
of the discrepancies between their actual situation (company's culture, management practice) and that which would
lead sustainable business conditions. Managers however, will understand that by applying Expert 5ATM managements
principles in actual context, they will develop a management practice compatible with sustainable business principles.
