Performance !
To perform means "to give form". The performance is most often associated to the quality of the result, here however,
we will approach it from a dynamic point of view. We will focus on the manner by which it is achieved. The reason for
such an approach is that when performance is being submitted to a systemic dynamics, we not only get immediate progression,
but we also set the stage for even more progression, maturity and vision. When one is engaged to reach a given objective, the
result is important. However, this does not mean anything if the manner used to achieve this result is not understood.
Simply put: "I got there but I don't know how" will get you nowhere! More than 15 years of experience with professional
athletes has proven that this approach to performance is by far the most fruitful.
Expert 5ATM states that performance is the end result of the simultaneous activation of the 5 systemic functions as they
apply to this level. Thus respecting of these 5 functions is the condition to performance. By analyzing their nature, a manager
adds a precious tool in his/her tool box! In particular, (s)he can identify with accuracy the nature of an obstacle to personal
or collective performance. Again, such precise diagnosis prevents one from having to resort to judgment, antagonism or unnecessary
authority.
