Emotional awareness

Emotional awareness is the process by which we have the access to the information provided by our inner antennas or feelings. Our emotions are information! Beyond words and prior to reason, emotions inform us continuously on the nature of the experiences we go through. The emotional process is as naturally present in us as is our ability to digest or that of repairing bones. Everything has been set up for us so that we are kept constantly informed. Once this information has been deciphered, the intelligence come in giving us the possibility to act upon this information. We will then call this process the existential intelligence, a competency which we will address in the next level.

Developing a reliable capacity to decipher one's emotions is the first step to becoming a centered manager. But first, one has to learn what these emotions are and how they operate. We will see that the emotional process rests on Expert 5ATM systemic rules. Accordingly, we will address five complementary families of emotions, each playing a specific information role.
